With the recent introduction of Florida House Bill 1455 – a proposed bill, currently making its rounds in the Florida House of Representatives, that seeks to “cap” THC levels in medical marijuana – we’ve seen an increase in stigma-promoting statements (including claims that medical marijuana represents the “next opioid crisis”).
To combat these falsehoods (and arm cannabis advocates with the tools they need to best communicate their arguments!), CannaMD has created the following infographics. We look forward to adding more in the future and hope you’ll consider sharing with friends, family, and especially medical marijuana adversaries.
When presenting H.B. 1455 to the Florida House Professions & Public Health Subcommittee, Representative Spencer Roach claimed that medical marijuana patients were “abusing the system” to “get high.” Please share the infographics below with as many people as possible to help educate politicians, and the public, about just how wrong that statement is!
